Lana is a nutritionist and certified yoga instructor. Her aim is to provide clients with the physical, biological and spiritual aspects of nutrition and wellness to help them live a healthy and well-balanced life. Lana spends time counseling her clients and helping them analyze their current health status, while guiding them towards a greater understanding and practice of a healthier lifestyle. By working from a behavioral perspective, Lana helps her clients understand the driving force behind their habits and practices, so that they may establish healthier alternatives. Using a holistic approach to eating healthy, Lana’s philosophy is for clients to focus on one day at a time. This micro perspective creates the attainability needed for long-term success. Lana also incorporates her passion for yoga into her services for her clients, as a way to stay fit, and create a balance between mind and body. Lana has a Master in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She is also a YogaWorks trained yoga teacher, along with a Prenatal Yoga certification from Prenatal Yoga Center in NYC and a Baby and Me certification from Baby Om. Her client’s successes have included: weight loss, healthy weight gain, energy improvement, pre and post natal health, and relief from various gastrointestinal ailments as well as allergies. Lana also consults with corporate clients in creating bespoke corporate wellness guidelines. She also works with high-caliber healthcare practitioners and is active in the New York City wellness community.
